Houston Rockets (52-14) became the first team in the Western Conference on Sunday to secure their place in the NBA Playoffs by defeating the Dallas Mavericks 105-82 (21-46).

Without his franchise player, James Harden, who rested after sustaining a blow to his left leg during the loss against the Raptors, Chris Paul took over the team and scored 24 points and 12 assists.

The Golden State Warriors have two straight losses  (51-16), and they are one victory away from securing his place in the Playoffs. Without Stephen Curry, who suffers a sprained ankle, fell by 109-103 against Minnesota Timberwolves (39-29).
