Tony Parker, On Leonard: “My Injury Was 100 Times Worse”

Tony Parker throwing more fuel to the fire. ESPN reported yesterday a meeting of the Spurs locker room, led by Tony Parker, to try to push Kawhi Leonard back to the tracks. And today, 24 hours later, it’s the very base of the San Antonio franchise that seems to continue to pressure the MVP of the 2014 Finals. And we say it seems because Danny Green denied the existence of such a conclave.

Parker, who last May suffered a quadriceps injury that prevented him from reappearing until November after seven months of rehabilitation, points out that although Leonard has been on leave longer, his injury was much more serious.

“I already went through that. It was a long rehabilitation. It’s the same kind of injury that Kawhi has, but mine was a hundred times worse. But it’s the same type of injury. Just keep a positive attitude”, comments Tom Orsborn of San Antonio Express-News.
