◼️ The duel between the US for the closure of Group 4 resolved a ticket to the next round and was in the hands of the world number 23.
Patrick Reed knocked out Jordan Spieth from the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play at Austin Country Club, Texas, in a one-on-one duel for the close of Group 4 that defined one of the qualifiers to the round of 16.
The world number 23 won by 2 & 1 and took one of the weight names of the tournament, as happened with Rory McIlrroy. The Norwegian, winner of the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week, fell by a resounding 5 & 3 in Group 6.
