Isaiah Thomas, 4 Months Out After Having Surgery

The most complicated season of Isaiah Thomas’ career has come to an end. A serious physical problem and two transfers later, Los Angeles Lakers have announced that Isaiah Thomas has been intervened in New York to solve the problems suffered at the hip and will be off the next four months.

The arthroscopic surgery to which Thomas has undergone is aimed at cleaning the right hip of inflammatory debris. Thomas was injured at some point last season and continued playing with discomfort until in the Eastern Conference Finals was placed on the list of casualties in Boston indefinitely. Thomas didn’t return to participate in a game until January of this year and his injury, with many shadows as was already known in summer, was about to prevent the Celtics and Cavaliers complete the transfer of him and Kyrie Irving.

This season Thomas has played a total of 32 games out of 82 possible, wearing in 15 of them the shirt of Cleveland and in 17 that of the Lakers. His averages with Californians have been 15.6 points and 5 assists.
