The Warriors Are One Game Away From Sweeping The Spurs

◼️ The Golden State Warriors won 110-97 in the third match of the series. Kevin Durant returned to command the offense of the current champions.

There were no smiles in the Spurs’ bench before the game. Yes a minute of silence to remember Gregg Popovich, his coach and who recently lost his wife. They had to play because that’s the way sport is. For many Erin Popovich was like a mother and the best way to honor her (as Tony Parker said before the game) was with a victory. However, that didn’t happen, the Warriors continued to be unstoppable, they prevailed by 110-97 and were one win away from sweeping San Antonio in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

Kevin Durant returned to take the leadership of Golden State and with 26 points, nine rebounds and six assists, was the figure of his team on a night when Stephen Curry was back on the bench encouraging his teammates. Should win this Sunday, again as visitors, the current champions will have advanced without problems in a series in which they have not had much counterweight.

On the side of the Spurs, Manu Ginobili was on the court 17 minutes (he didn’t score) while the most prominent man was LaMarcus Aldridge with 18 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans outscored the Trail Blazers 119-102 and put the series in their favor 3-0 and the 76ers scored a major 128-108 victory over the Heat to go up 2-1.
