Gerrard: “Liverpool Earned The Right To Be Feared”

◼️ The former Liverpool footballer highlighted the work done by the Reds this season and highlighted his virtues with a view to the clash on Tuesday against Rome.

Steven Gerrard, Liverpool legend, says the Reds “earned the right to be feared” before their first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final against Roma.

Those led by Jürgen Klopp beat the Premier League champions Manchester City in the quarterfinals to secure a 5-1 aggregate win; with a view to the final will have as an obstacle to the team of the Italian capital.

“I think Liverpool has earned the right now to be feared”, the former footballer told Roma TV. “Of the four, Liverpool was the team that none of the other three wanted to face, because it’s very difficult to stop”, he added.

“I think Liverpool will have a great pace at Anfield and will really try to play at a speed that will take Roma out of their comfort zone”, he said in the pre-match on Tuesday. “I think the style of Rome and the Italian style is more technical and at a different pace, while the main strength of Liverpool is speed and movement”, Gerrard reinforced.
