◼️ The Golden State figure could return this Tuesday, after five weeks out, in the second game of the semifinals against the Pelicans.
Stephen Curry hopes that his return to activity with Golden State Warriors will not be so complicated. It is estimated that the star of the reigning NBA champion will return to the action on Tuesday, for Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Pelicans.
“I just hope I don’t do so badly after five weeks, that’s my goal”, Curry told The Undefeated. “The plan is to return this Tuesday, although the final decision will correspond to the team of preparers”, he added.
Curry has not played since March 23, which was his first game after an ankle injury, due to a sprain of the medial collateral ligament. Despite their absence, the Warriors progressed in the postseason, outscored San Antonio Spurs (4-1) in the first round and opened with a 123-101 victory over New Orleans.
Curry resumed full contact practices on Thursday and faced a 5 on 5 for the first time on Friday. If it was debated about his possible return for last Saturday’s game, the team decided to extend his recovery time.
