◼️ Zidane justified the decision of the White House for the next classic at the Camp Nou. “Barcelona broke that tradition,” he argued.

Real Madrid will visit Barcelona next Sunday at Camp Nou in a somewhat decaffeinated classic compared to the most recent ones, as the Catalans are already La Liga champions.

However, the Merengue team made it clear that they will not make a ‘hall of honor’ to the Catalans before the game, since they consider that Barça broke the tradition in December when they did not honor the winner of the Clubs World Cup at the Santiago Bernabéu.

“We are not going to make a corridor. It’s my decision and that’s it. I don’t understand what’s so special about the corridor and it’s not going to be done. Barcelona broke that tradition”, Zinedine Zidane explained.

Guillermo Amor, responsible for Institutional and Sports Relations of the Catalan club, justified the decision not to have honored Madrid in December. “We always make it clear that we do it when we participate in that competition and in this case we are not in that competition”, said the Culé leader.
