The Knicks Consider Going After LeBron James

New York Knicks has just closed the contract of David Fizdale for his bench and already thinks about how to form a competitive template; so much so that according to Marc Berman of the New York Post, they would be studying the possibility of launching for LeBron James in the next free agency, and they would even manage a plan to obtain the necessary salary space.

This would mean a change as great as unexpected in the Big Apple project. Although all the franchise would like to be ready to win immediately, it’s hard to see the Knicks in that scenario, since the one that at the moment is their best player, Kristaps Porzingis, will not be able to play at least until the middle of next season.

On the other hand, the signature of Fizdale for the next four courses invited to imagine a calm and unhurried growth. Wanting to get to for many better player in the world would have little to do with it. Also, if LeBron James wants something to win, and even if he can only convert a mediocre team into a playoff team, a different question is to be prepared to be the best.

It is hard to believe that The King ended up choosing the Knicks. Although he has insisted at all times to ensure that he has not prepared a list of equipment for free agency, it has been quite some time since the information concentrates his election in four franchises: Cavaliers, Lakers, Rockets and 76ers. In all these cases there are sports inducements – partners – that invite us to believe that LeBron would consider them. With the Knicks, although the appeal of the city is huge, it’s not so clear.
