◼️ Tyronn Lue confirmed that Jeff Green will start for Kevin Love in the seventh game against the Celtics.

Bad news for the Cleveland Cavaliers: Kevin Love will miss the seventh game of the Eastern Finals against the Boston Celtics. This was confirmed by Tyronn Lue to the journalists in the team’s morning training. Instead, Jeff Green will be the starter.

Kevin Love took a hard hit on the head in a clash with Jayson Tatum during the last game and had to undergo the concussion surveillance protocol.

The league prevents players who have shown symptoms of this situation from playing again before passing a thorough evaluation, so it is discarded for the seventh game.

In his place will play Jeff Green, who already occupied a good part of his minutes in the sixth game after he had to leave. Green finished as the Cavs’ third-leading scorer with 14 points, although he is only averaging seven during the series.
