In the court, LeBron James and Stephen Curry are rivals. Outside the court they agree: Neither of the two stars of the NBA would go to the White House in case of getting the Larry O ‘Brien trophy this season
“I know it doesn’t matter who wins this series, nobody wants the invitation anyway,” James said. “It won’t be Golden State or Cleveland would going.”
His comment came in response to the White House decision that discouraged the Super Bowl champion, the Philadelphia Eagles after they tried to send a small delegation.
Reports indicate that the players refused to go by the way Trump has criticized the protests, but several Eagles players have said that was not the case.
No player from Philadelphia knelt during the national anthem during the last regular season or postseason.
The Warriors experienced a similar situation after winning the championship last season. After Curry said publicly that he didn’t want to go to the White House, Trump replied that the Warriors had not been invited.
