The Wimbledon Final Will Not Air If England Is A World Cup Finalist In Russia 2018

◼️ From All England Club they assured that the schedule of the decisive duel will stay at 2pm GMT as in every year.

All England Club insist that the time scheduled for the men’s Wimbledon final will not change if England reaches the final of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

After Gareth Southgate’s team qualified for a semifinal match against Croatia, which will take place in Moscow on Wednesday, calls have grown for Wimbledon to adjust the start time for the men’s final.

The Center Court masterpiece is scheduled for 2 pm GMT on Sunday, which means it is very likely to clash with the World Cup final, which starts at 4pm.

“For a couple of years we have said that the final will be played at 2 p.m., like every year,” Richard Lewis, executive director of All England Club, told BBC Sport.
