◼️ The Swiss signed with the Reds after three seasons in Stoke City.

The Swiss national team Xherdan Shaqiri became a new Liverpool player, the English club announced on Friday through its social networks.

The 26-year-old winger passed his medical examination Friday before signing a long-term contract that amounts to five years, according to the English press.

The cost of the operation would be 13 million pounds, about 15 million euros.

“I’m really happy to be here, it’s a huge club with a great history, great players, and a fantastic coach,” said the player.

Shaqiri was eliminated with his selection in the eighth of the Russian World Cup by Sweden
