Leonard Could Attend The US Minicamp With Popovich

On the new episode in Kawhi Leonard’s soap opera. The forward, whose future remains in the air while keeping his voice muted, could go to the next minicamp of the United States national team. That comes to train and play with other players in the country, being invited to it, is not a surprise; but it can happen with Gregg Popovich being the coach.

Because the relationship between the two is cold. San Antonio wants to fix the situation between franchise and player. Leonard wants to leave with Los Angeles destination. With those ingredients we don’t know if their presence in such concentration can push their way out or their permanence.

What is clear, according to Ramona Shelburne and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, is that he is seriously considering going to the minicamp that will take place in Las Vegas next week. If its presence is finally confirmed, one of its objectives could be to show potential business partners that it is recovered. However, among the executives of the NBA there is a belief that it will be dissuaded to avoid secondary consequences, since every movement or gesture with Pops would be observed with a magnifying glass.
