◼️ The United Kingdom and Ireland can follow the August 18 duel between Juventus and Chievo Verona in which CR7 will be presented in Italy.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s debut with Juventus is part of a series of Serie A and La Liga matches that will be aired on Facebook in the United Kingdom and Ireland this season.
Eleven Sports, holder of broadcasting rights in the United Kingdom, announced on Monday that it reached an agreement with the social network to see at least one live match every week on the Facebook page of the network.
The agreement is a step closer to the online sector by securing lucrative live football contracts after Amazon bought in June the rights to offer 20 Premier League matches each season for three years in the UK, beginning in the 2019 campaign.
The Serie A debut of Cristiano Ronaldo in Verona against Chievo on August 18, the match that Valencia and Atlético de Madrid will play two days later at the opening of La Liga and the visit of Barcelona to Valladolid on the 25th August, are among the scheduled games to be broadcast free.
Last week, Eleven Sports, owned by Leeds United president Andrea Radrizzani, announced that a monthly online subscription for all its content will cost 6.71 euros per month or an annual fee of 67.18 euros.
