Andrew Bynum’s bid to return to the NBA continues to take shape. If a few days ago Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that he had hired an agent to go training with teams for the 2018-19 course, now it is this same journalist who says he has been practicing at the Los Angeles Lakers’ facilities.

At the moment it’s not an official training, but it’s certainly another step in his commitment to return to the league. In addition, although he must wait for some franchises to give him the chance to test himself, the fact of having been exercising on the courts of the Angelenos has served his cause to make it clear that he’s totally serious.

Regarding the options of being in California where he finally finds accommodation, Charania points out that the current management has an open door to welcome former players of the team, a “requirement” that Bynum fully meets, since he was a key player in the rings of 2009 and 2010.
