◼️ From the brain of debutant manager Álex Cora, the Boston team achieved the centenary of victories.

Boston Red Sox took the 1-0 victory over Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday night, earning their 100th victory, something they didn’t achieve since 1946. This is the fourth time the franchise has achieved the feat.

The new manager, Álex Cora, was in charge of taking the Red Sox to this centennial victory in the MLB, something that no coach had done in his debut season for 15 years; the last to get it was Felipe Alou in command of San Francisco Giants.

In addition to taking the victory, the Boston team is the only one in the MLB to secure its place in the post-season.
