REPORTS: Zidane Left Real Madrid Because The Club Refused To Sell Bale

◼️ There was an agreement between Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane to sell to Gareth Bale, the president backed down and the Frenchman left office.

In Madrid, they really miss Zinedine Zidane after the mediocre results of Julen Lopetegui but the club and fans want someone to blame and Gareth Bale seems like the right person for the job.

A publication of the newspaper ‘El País’ reveals that the last-minute refusal of Florentino Perez (team president) to sell the Welsh and sacrifice Cristiano Ronaldo was the reason why Zizou resigned after winning his third consecutive Champions League.

The report even mentions that Real Madrid was going to ask for 100 million euros, but the performance of Bale in the UCL Final made the boss “betray” the pact with his GM.

“This boy is better than Cristiano”,he’s misunderstood“, murmured the white president according to the versions gathered by El País with people close to his environment.

That night, after the worn-out relationship with Cristiano due to salary disputes, Florentino decided to get rid of Portuguese to the detriment of the Welsh, contrary to what was agreed with Zidane.

Neymar, Harry Kane, Eden Hazard, and Mohamed Salah were the names that Zizou and Perez managed to replace Gareth Bale with, but everything changed after the bicycle-kick at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev.

When Florentino Perez sought to persuade his coach to give another opportunity to the Welshman – whom Zizou described as “scattered, irregular and individualistic” – the resignation came.

Four months after the resignation of the Frenchman, Real Madrid is experiencing its worst crisis of results and scoring production in more than a decade.
