◼️ A $65,000 bill at a bar in London, England, resulted in the detention of four Jacksonville Jaguars players.
On the day before their NFL Week 8 game, four players from the Jacksonville Jaguars were arrested following an incident in London, where they will play against the Champions, Philadelphia Eagles, at Wembley on Sunday.
The information published by the same NFL argues that the problem was due to the tab in a bar that amounted to 50 thousand pounds sterling, about 65 thousand dollars, which refused to pay the defensive Barry Church, Ronnie Harrison, DJ Hayden, and Jarrod Wilson.
Given this, the Jaguars franchise issued a statement: “The issue is being resolved and the players are already with the rest of their peers, the disciplinary issue will be treated internally”.
The #Jaguars‘ players arrested the other night were released without any further action taken, London Police said in a statement this morning. The bill has been paid and the matter has been resolved. Team has said discipline will be handled internally.
