The Cleveland Cavaliers could finally achieve their first victory in the recently started NBA season and without their former star LeBron James, who emigrated to the Los Angeles Lakers, winning 136-114 against the Atlanta Hawks.
Rodney Hood led the baton in the triumph with 26 points, backed by Cedi Osman with 20, George Hill and Collin Sexton with 17 apiece, Jordan Clarkson with 15, Sam Dekker with 12 and Tristan Thompson with 11.

The team had 48 rebounds, 13 from Thompson, nine from Dekker and eight from Sexton, while Dekker was the leader in assists with four passes, and in general, the team had a 50 percent of effectiveness in field shots.
