The Steelers Drop 52 Points On The Panthers And Improve To 6-2-1

⬛️ With five TD passes from Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh was vastly superior against Carolina.

Ben Roethlisberger threw five touchdown passes and the Pittsburgh Steelers massacred Carolina Panthers 21-52. The legendary Steelers’ quarterback returned to have a magical night to command the fifth consecutive triumph of the black and gold team.

For the first time since 1984, Pittsburgh scored 52 points, the highest amount in a game since then for the franchise and was only possible thanks to the superb performance of Big Ben, who threw for 328 yards and no interception.

Ben distributed his 5 TDs between Antonio Brown, Juju Smith-Schuster, Vance McDonald, Jaylen Samuels, and Jesse James; while James Conner collaborated with one more by land.

Cam Newton opened the scoring on a night that promised a duel to the death, but in which Panthers dramatically deflated. Superman could barely complete 193 yards, two touchdowns and an interception against Pittsburgh’s brave defense.

With the victory, the Steelers stay with a 6-2-1 record in the first place of the North of the AFC; while Carolina remained with a record of 6-3.
