This is basically the question of whether India, England or anyone else will run for the title before the T20 World Cup. But what happened in the end? England, however, lost to New Zealand in a dramatic last-minute semifinal. But India, made up of stars like Kohli, Rohit, Pandya and Pant, has been eliminated in the group stage.

The World Cup that was supposed to be held on Indian soil, the World Cup that eventually moved to the United Arab Emirates due to Corona, but the host was surrounded by India’s name, started from the Super Twelve and ended India’s World Cup journey in the Super Twelve.

Why this sinking? The analysis has not been less. But in the eyes of former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, the reason for India’s failure is the deteriorating relationship of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) with captain Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri.

The T20 World Cup was the finale for both Kohli and Shastri. Kohli has long since announced that he will not be captaining India’s T20 team after the World Cup. Shastri’s contract with the Indian board would have ended after the World Cup.

He was also very sure that the agreement would not be renewed. The BCCI has officially announced the replacement of Shastri as Dravid’s coach during India’s match against Afghanistan in the Super Twelve of the World Cup on November 3!

Inzamam thinks that India could not do well in the World Cup because of the fact that the coach-captain was removed before the World Cup. “Even before the match, I said that the statement that he (Kohli) had given up his captaincy before the tournament was not good. A big tournament in front of you, before that something means that the pressure on you is increasing, you are not at ease. And they knew before the tournament that Dravid was coming instead of Shastri, ”Inzamam told Pakistani TV channel ARY.

India should not have made such announcements before or during the World Cup if they wanted to win the World Cup, Inzamam said. Changing the leadership of your team! And that means the relationship between Kohli, Shastri and the board was not good. If India were in a position to win the T20 World Cup, would they change captains and coaches? There was some trouble between them!

India’s World Cup failure began with a loss to Pakistan. In their first match of the tournament, India, struggling in front of Shahin Shah Afridi’s dazzling bowling, finally lost to Pakistan by 10 wickets that day. The shock of losing to arch-rivals was such that India could not even compete against New Zealand in the next match. After losing two matches in a row, India’s departure from the tournament became almost certain. After that, despite winning by a large margin against Afghanistan and Namibia, India could not stop the departure.

Inzamam has previously praised Shahin Afridi’s bowling, which took three wickets for 31 runs in the first match against India, this time on ARY News. Besides, Inzamam’s praise has spread with the whole fast bowling of Pakistan! The former Pakistan captain said, “Our fast bowlers have shown their mettle against India. We always had great pace-batteries. All the teams are a bit scared to face Pakistan’s bowling.
