◼️ Having decided on June 13 not to sanction PSG for financial fair-play, UEFA announced in early July that it would reexamine the club’s accounting situation
The agreement with the Jordan brand, a subsidiary of Nike, “will help” the Paris SG to “increase” its commercial income, confessed Thursday the president of the Parisian club, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, while PSG remains in the crosshairs of UEFA in the framework of financial fair play.
The “exclusive” three-year sponsorship with Jordan, officialized this Thursday, will send a positive signal in the framework of financial fair-play? “Yes, that will help, that’s why I said to everyone, calm because our income is on its way up,” said Al-Khelafi.

According to a source close to the dossier, this collaboration could generate up to “200 million euros” in annual revenues on the set of sales of products of the Nike and Jordan brands for the PSG.
“We still have many things to do, of course, but the global PSG brand, with Jordan, can bring us a lot of income from this season,” Al-Khelafi added, without specifying the amount of the operation.
After deciding on June 13 not to sanction PSG for financial fair-play, UEFA announced in early July that it would reexamine the club’s accounting situation.
The PSG reacted by underlining that it had just made “a significant number of transfers in the last few days to be in compliance with the Financial Control Instance of the Clubs (ICFC)”.
The Parisian club is in the spotlight of the European instance from its burdensome expenses in the “mercato” of the last European summer, with the signings of the Brazilian Neymar, coming from Barcelona for 222 million euros, and the French prodigy Kylian Mbappé , coming from Monaco (135 million euros + 45 million in variables).
Following the opening of an investigation by UEFA in this regard, he indicated his ability to develop sponsorship agreements to be able to present accounts with positive numbers. The clubs participating in the Champions League and the Europa League can not spend more than they enter or accumulate a deficit of more than 30 million in three years.
PSG will use the kit with Jordan’s logo instead of Nike’s in their Champions League games of the current season.
