Joel Embiid Will Reportedly Leave Adidas And Sign A Deal With Under Armor

◼️ The NBA’s biggest sneaker free agent is on the verge of finding a new home, according to a Yahoo Sports report.

According to Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports, Sixers star Joel Embiid, who has been thought of as the most coveted free agent on the sneaker market at the moment, is inking a deal with Under Armour.

Joel Embiid became the top sneaker free agent in the NBA recently as his rookie deal with Adidas ran up and he hit the market ready to cash in on being one of the league’s fastest rising stars on and off the court.

Embiid was seen at Sixers media day wearing Under Armour sneakers and even played in the brand during the team’s trip to China for two preseason games against the Dallas Mavericks.

Embiid joins Stephen Curry as the second true NBA star to become an Under Armour athlete. While Curry has surely generated them millions of dollars, Under Armour has likely struggled with other basketball players, given their relatively underwhelming list of NBA endorsers.

So, it looks like we’ll be getting the very first Joel Embiid signature shoe soon, courtesy of Under Armour.
