A handwritten copy of the Holy Quran has been found in Turkey 450 years ago. It was found at the historic Sultan Selim Mosque in Konya, in the country’s Karapinar district.

According to the Daily Sabah, the Qur’an, presented by Ottoman Sultan Selim II, contains 10 paragraphs. It has recently come out in public.

The historic mosque from which the copy of the Holy Quran was found was built by Selim II of the Ottoman Caliphate. We examine the handwritten copy of the Qur’an, which mentions the names of Ottoman Sultan Selim II and Karanpur.

Mustafa Askar, a professor in the Department of Theology at Ankara University, examined the matter.

Mustafa Askar says a handwritten copy of the Qur’an 450 years ago is a very important document. It was then decided to display it at the Sultan Selim Mosque.

Although the Holy Quran has 30 verses, only 10 verses have been found here. The Qur’an is beautifully written.
